Can I play? I looked at this game/world a couple of years ago and was interested but could not convince anyone else to give it a go. Anyway I have decided to go it alone and buy the rules and some other stuff. The mini line has sure expanded since i looked last and the world looks fantastic excellent work Michael Now where do I start miniature wise? There are two sizes and contain everything you need to start playing, with a force of Devanu and Fubarnii of the Empire, except the usual gaming accessories (tape measure, terrain paint, glue etc). They form a good basis to expand from as well.

As an also recent newcomer to Twilight, I definitely recommend the starter kits. They're good value and start you off well with both Devanu and Empire fubarnii. I see you mentioned Delgon, and while it's a bummer that they're not in the starter set it's really quite easy and affordable to throw together a comparably-sized small force of Delgon fubarnii so that you'll have a bit of everything. Glad you like what you've seen so far. :) I've been thinking through a few basic starter forces that I'm planning to post shortly - everything does get rather manic in the run up to salute though! As loath as I am to suggest you delay ordering, there might be a couple of useful army deals appearing in the next couple of weeks that might be good for you.
