I like that the tower is off-set. Not sure about the hexagonals. Any chance you could pt up a pic with it added to an existing builging to see how it would look combined?

P.S. Got my order thanks Brandlin, arrived yesterday, ta.

Nice ideas. I'd prefer a single 'storey' version though. Could I suggest doing a kit where the tube actually intersects the hexagonal building, allowing some of the offset towers I've been hoping to see...

I like the one on the right and the offsetness is a good idea. Not sure about the hexagons either - its hard to visualise what they'd look like as one of your finished buildings... They're growing on me... Incidentally, I have also recieved a package from you Brandlin Thanks lots - looking forward to building it, although I just came home to find my puppy in the devastation of my pringle tubes collection, so I'm going to have to eat some more!

At least the puppy attack occurred before you spent hours building staircases etc...

I like that!
How about thinning the lower floor slightly to break up the outline more?

Think he means reducing the size of the hexagonal footprint. Having it on stilts would look good.

Yeah, Klute got what I meant. Possibly keep it on the same axis as the floor above, but narrow it by a few mm.
Another option could be to do the upper storey as fully timbered with vertical slats to add another texture?
I like the idea of this adding a new 'fashion' in Fubarnii building that would be incorporated into the previous style of architecture.
Did you ever look into stone-texture for the flat sections, or would the cutting be too slow?

Offset like that it looks great. I didn't see the (hexa)possibilities before.
I think stilits would make it look even better, but the great thing about the kits is they are easy to bash into the shape you want because the construction methods.
On second thoughts, maybe the tube itself should be on stilts, and the hexagon on the ground.

Smaller footprint on the lower floor wouldn't be hard.
Making it modular so that pillars could be used, or possibly slanted beams back to the cylinder base... Like braces.
I think I'd put a hexagonal roof on the tube as well as the hexagon for this one.
