I'm looking forward to seeing those Knights of Relan, the militia and knights you painted before are stunning.

All I've done tonight in twilight terms is take some photos. Sorry.

Oh, no, wait, that's what you all want to see... ok then!

The Herders - I intend to use the Bolas-armed herder as a herder captain until I get a proper one painted:

And Last but not least for the moment - Captain Danomar's Knights of Relan:

I'm really not sure about the colour of the Enuk Nobilis, but I doubt I'll change them now. I just kept thinking of Gold Chocobos....
I tried adding a few extra markings to one, but I'm equally not sure it adds anything so it'll probably remain on just the one.

Very nice work on all of those! Danomar's spear looks somewhat bent, but regardless they look great. That's a nice rich red too.

I might have to pinch the bolas idea. Very cool.

How hard was the bolas conversion? Did it take much putty work?

Thanks all - much appreciated  Grin

Rather embarrassingly, I did the building of these models ages ago, they sat for a long time waiting for paint. I cant even remember what I did for the Bolas guy. If asked, I'd have said it was an arm provided on the weapons sprue but clearly not as Mike's asking! umm, I doubt there was any putty involved just careful trimming - I'm terribly lazy wherever possible! Embarrassed

I'll check my workbench photos and see if I can spot anything in the background to jog my memory and be more useful!

The arm was from the light cavalry upgrade sprue. Mark is planning to make some adjustments to the original models to make them easier to swap arms, but its nice to see that the work already. We could do with another right hand though...

I agree with that. Another right hand would be most useful. Using the rope was a bit of a cop out on my part. In fact it highlights my lazyness as I hardly even bent the fingers in!

Shying away from Lazyness for a moment however, Commander Brenar is also completed and ready for action!

That's a very nice Commander Brenar! As always, a lovely vibrant red you have there.
