I like what you've done with those - the slight wing tweak works well and it's great to see a proper flock of them!

The reposing was remarkably easy, and it really does help them look like a flock rather than clones.

I actually painted these 2 days ago, but only just got round to taking a picture -

Your version of slower is still mighty impressive. Great work Chris.

Cheers Paul!

Last day of month 1 for the AiA, and Malog's finally built/converted/sculpted! This means I essentially have this afternoon and evening to paint the 2 Kosok and Malog, once he's cured in 3 hours.

Here's his finished unpainted form -

He's truly huge - a new base size for Twilight it seems! Here's a few scale shots -

Yes, he makes a laden Belan seem small, and his weapon is over 3 and a half Furbarnii heights long... He is truly a mechanical monster. I'm looking forward to painting him!

Wow he is impressive mate. I think the term dreadnought fits him well.

Wow. He is monstrously huge! I think my version of him will be a tad less impressive  Wink

Yours will be better sculpted though, so impressive in it's own way. Wink

The Kosok are done too, and Malog's armour, base and metals are finished. Just flesh, leathers and details to go...

Managed to finish Malog, so that's month 1 out of the way. Guess I should start on month 2 now!

I'll probably end up painting more dwarves for the first week though, poor guys are neglected.

Thats a really nice deep bronze colour you have there, and a mighty fine beast its painted on! Very scary prospect to see him on the field. Still, Invincible Brenar to the Rescue! Roll Eyes

That is quite an amazing creation, as well as being well painted! I still can't get over how huge he is!

Right, I have indeed been painting! Lots of rebasing from a previous comp entry, plus a few more Enuk and a Mason.

Very good as usual. Any chance of a close-up on the mason? Looks like you've done a neat job with posing.

Cheers - here's a few quick shots. Not too far from finishing 270 points of Dhogu, maybe an hour or two left. 2 Yirnak Captains, a Captain and 2 Dhogu bows incoming soon...

Good weather allowed me to affix the snow, so 270 points of Dhogu done! Just 2 models left for this faction, though I'll probably blitz the 2 Devanu next, before finishing off the Dhogu and wading back in to the Empire.
