@Halcyon: I may have to do a individual run of yirnak and onsegar cards, just to keep you happy even I can't fit them in the main deck...
So, what should their rules look like?
Well as you asked...
I can't claim suggesting the Yirnak, as that was Graham Lewis on the latest KS, but I did follow his lead and suggest the Onsegar.
I have worked backwards from the Yirnak Rider in the rulebook and tried to remove the stat increases and abilities that the rider added and came up with the following...
Yirnak
Points: 25-30 ?
Move: 8
Combat: 2
Support: 0
Tough: 4+
Stamina: 0
Size: Medium
Command Range: 6”
Pack (1) [L]
Charge (2)[A]
Powerful Charge [T]
Ranger [T]
I added the Pack ability as I imagine them as a herd animal similar to a Yak.
Likewise I have worked backwards from Seh'Ban Steyar to create an unridden Onsegar...
Onseger
Points: 100
Move: 10
Combat: 4
Support: 0
Tough: 3+
Stamina: 2
Size: Large
Command Range: 6”
Charge (1)[A]
Ferocity* [C]
Pounce (3)[C]
Powerful [C]
Aggressive [T]
Proud [T]
Wild Animal [T]
Very Tough* [S
]
I added Ferocity and Wild Animal to reflect that it's wilder undomesticated nature and Proud to stop Beast Handlers controlling large packs of them. (Which I just felt would be wrong). As they are quite Lion like I also thought Proud was a suitable ability for such a noble beast.
I am not too sure on the points so have just made my best guess.
What does everyone think ?
