Title: Hello (a bit late... oops)
Post by: GregX999 on May 01, 2011, 03:06:15 am
Hey all,

This is my 4rd or 5th post, but I only just realized this "Introductions" section was here, so greetings from the U.S.! (I'd say "from California", but I won't be there for 3 weeks yet.)

I first heard of this game (saw the website) a year or two ago. But it was so small, that although I thought it looked neat, I didn't think too much of it. But having rediscovered it, I've been drawn in hard (I just LOVE the world... the creatures, the background, the artwork, it's amazing!). So I'm placing a rather large order with Mike for the two books, enough figures to play all the scenarios in the first book, plus a hunter and some of his little critters. I can only hope they don't get stuck for weeks at customs!

Greg

Welcome to the forum! That certainly sounds like quite a lot to get you started, here's hoping customs are feeling friendly.

Welcome! Always good to have a few colonists here ;)

In a blatant piece of self publicity and salesmanship... "want to buy some terrain?"

I'm completely amazed at your Salute board, and quite liking your other offerings. But I'll have have to go the "build my own" route for the time-being as the initial purchase of figures isn't exactly cheap (stupid USD conversion rate!).

I love how you use Sketch-up for pre-planning. I might just have to do the same - if only to just have an excuse to use Sketch-up! :)

I'm not so much interested in any one faction as much as I'm interested in the whole Twilight world. It's so well thought-out for being so "different". I don't know why it's so compelling, but it's one of the few "fantasy worlds" that have really drawn me in. If I could, I'd get one (or more) of every figure currently available. :)

I can't wait to see how it evolves!

You mean you haven't had your one-of-everything-introductory-pack that mike sends free to everyone who registers here?

It's the only reason I'm here!

It's a nicely sized range, so you probably could in time. There's bound to be a nutter on this forum who's close to that lofty goal.

Hmm, I wonder which nutter that could be... He needs to get back on with painting though as a lot of them are still bare metal  ;)

Bound to be plenty of nutters here. Hell, some would probably even chop up a load of the figures to get even more variety!
