The World Of Twilight

Hey all,

It's less than a fortnight to Salute! This is always a big event in the Twilight calendar and this year isn't going to be any different. Assuming I can get everything done by then...  :)

The plan!
We've got our usual stand, which will be covered in lots of inked and painted models so you can see everything in the flesh. There will also be a little demo board there so anybody can come and ask for a quick game to learn the basic rules.
We should have the entire range in stock, along with a pile of new releases that you might have seen mentioned over the last few months. All going well I will even have a few master casts of Dehran available! However, the big release this year is the Kedashii swarms! I should also have some production casts of the engineer pledge sculpts (The Herder Queen and The Falconer), which I am rather pleased with  :)
To let you try out all the new models I've been writing a brand new edition of the traveller, which will also include a full catalogue of the range. I'm only printing a few copies, so be sure to pick one up early!
We've also got a few new accessories in the works - Twilight dice and laser cut stamina counters.

I'm going to post a full range list here over the next couple of days, which will show all the prices so you can plan your purchases, order in advance or make an order to be sent wherever! I'm in the process of reviewing prices across the range, but I'm going to delay most of the price increases until after Salute, so now is a very good time to order  :)

Paul (Tuffskull) has been bullied into hosting a multiplayer participation game where you can try hunting some garkrid. There will even be small prizes for the most successful bug hunters!

As I can't make it to Salute, is it possible to pre-order the new traveller so it can be send with my next order?
I know this is probably asking a lot, but I thought I just ask it anyway.

Unfortunately I can't make it there, so I really look forward to see a lot of pictures from the event ;).

Edit:- oh, and please do come and say hi from the forums, but I'll warn you / apologise now. I'm terribly bad with names at the best of times. Middle of a show? Combination of real names and forum ids? Not a hope! Tell me something you've painted however, that I might have seen on here or elsewhere for that matter, and I'll have you fixed in my head in no time..... Something about years of wrong priorities and brain programming....  :-\

So many goodies yet not enough cash, lol.  I'll definitely be putting an order in for some of the new stuff but think I'll have to leave the Kedashi Swarms and Dehran for another day.

i noticed on the price list an entry for Erillai (2 models). are there rules for these beasts? i have not been able to find any though i have seen the picture in the miniatures section off of the main page.

The falcon next to the falconer on the facebook page looks a lot like a frenu. Are they the same models?

Not yet... I had fun sculpting doing the sculpts but I've yet to find a specific purpose for them! They would be good for use in scenarios (hunt the erillai!) and it is possible they may finally find a home in the Casanii range.

I did a little conversion to make it look more like the falcon on her hand (longer neck, arms and wings), but it is essentially a frenu. It was a bit of a cheat, but I think it works well.

Have been delving around to try and catch up and work out what's where these days - where can I find more details about the Frenu (and for that matter pictures of them?)  :)

I really need to get around to sharing some more pics of the new stuff!!!

They're gorgeous, joe and mike! Glad I'm not trying to get my swarm done for the show or I may have just given up! ;)

So I'm afraid I've fallen well short of this. They are under coated, but that all. Got distracted by the big guy! Gakrid soon! They kinda _have_ to be done by Friday........ :-[

I really like the Frenu models and I am really tempted...

However, as I still have my Traders Caravan, to complete, they will just have to wait until that is done.  8)
