I may get something to show, but have buggered up the colour choice on my grishak :-[ Title: Re: Ambush! Post by: Brandlin on June 29, 2011, 06:05:35 pm good job!
the eyes are exceedingly well painted, but i can't help thinking they should be more lizard like rather than just human equivalents. Title: Re: Ambush! Post by: TuffSkull on June 29, 2011, 11:34:50 pm Really nice brushwork. The markings on the beasts are cool. I dont know enough about the background to such things yet, but is it possible they'd have the same markings like that. It seems illogical, but I really like the way it ties them together! :)

Title: Re: Ambush! Post by: Carcharoth on July 13, 2011, 10:19:02 pm This one certainly deserved to win gold, coming in first for all three judges. The models are smoothly painted and well displayed. Not sure why the enuk and baruk share a colour scheme, but perhaps the old guy has spent his life looking for matching animals...
One minor criticism would be that the diorama doesn't lend itself to being photographed - none of the shots really show off the scene as a whole. Great entry though, so congratulations! |
