Hello guys, I've ordered The Great Starter including PreePree Protectors and Plutom's Mechanicals. Now the parcel has arrived and I want to share the first pictures with you. And I have to say the miniatures are great. Excellent casts without any burrs or mold lines. Almost. My son and I are very excited to paint them and start playing. The book and the cards are top notch. And I even found some extra goodies. Thank you very very much Mike. They are made of the (hopefully)upcoming Delgon standard. A really nice gift from Mike. At first I was concerned to cut them up but they were actually way to big to use as back banners. The original banner consists of three such glyphs/plates. I think they work well as back banners this way. :) I talked with my son which colour scheme we should go for. I couldn't decide. I would have gone for a red scheme. But I really liked his idea. He said let's paint Dehran in our typical Delgon style and Roban with something totally different like some poisonous serpent. So it became bright yellow with a little transition to bright green. As for the little critter? The original cart was based on a sketch from Inktober last year - there was a little hairy orange critter on the back. Jules asked if I would sculpt it, so that prompted the entire cart sculpt (and then the Lanakar kickstarter…)! The version there is a slight repose :) I don't think it's directly related to the onsegar, but it's probably from a similar family (a tabby cat compared to a lion...). The gardener mission is a nice variation. Both Enarii haven't been in action by now so I can not tell about them but the Belan Rider and the Dompaku Riders have played out very well. I had hard hard times with the Delgon forces over and over again against the joined forces of the Noble Guards the Belan Rider and the Dompaku Riders. And I must admit that I have expected more of my KalMalog unit. But most of the time the dice gods didn't grant me their favour. I said it once and I say it again the Toloran and the Nobleguards are tough. The ability of the Elder to manipulate the game at the foundation by forcing to redraw the iniative is terrific and can make quite a splash.

When we unpacked my daughter's birthday cake I had this styrofoam wreath in my hands. That thing that protects the cake a little.
I took a closer look at the thing and wondered if I could somehow use it for handicrafts. And suddenly I had the idea for this terrain in my head. I had to build it right away. Maybe it's a shrine of sorts I don't know. Maybe Roban will come by here or the Elder. Anyway, I think it fits in well with the flair of the game.
