The World Of Twilight

Wow, it's 2011 already?

2010 went by a strange blur of nappies, sleepless nights and too much time spent thinking about windmills. I did however manage to keep some good momentum going on Twilight! This year has really seen the Delgon come into their own, with the little black-armoured Fubarnii now boasting a fully functioning arsenal to rival either the Empire or the Devanu. The Fubarnii have also acquired a couple of new characters, with Danomar most definitely leading the charge. I was thinking the Devanu had been a little bit hard done by, but with Arak Katain and the Kosok they haven't been completely neglected. The inception of this new forum early this year was kinda fun, and the two contests we've run worked out really well :). I particularly liked all the random critters (I still need to sculpt a preepree, among others...).

Now I can look forward to 2011! April is looming close with Salute and I have a lot to get done before then. I've got a few new sculpts nearing completion, and lots of completed sculpts I need to hurry up and get into production. Alan has his super top secret project that will certainly be worth a look at Salute. I'm also aiming to finally get book number 2 into print, which will finally give a full set of official rules for the Delgon, along with lots of extra models and units for the other two cultures. There's a lot to do, but there always is before Salute!

I'm quite excited about where Twilight is going next, and I'm looking forward to sharing some more details with you guys over the next few weeks as the plan for Salute starts to crystalise! :)

Sounds good to me. Hope the Salute plans go well. Ive sent you a mail with some pics btw.
Would be nice to get more regular forum activity from members though things seem to be ticking over ok. Painting comp maybe ??

Salute is a great focus for building activity and enthusiasm, and I would certainly like to set up at least one more contest in the run-up period. I think a painting competition is an excellent idea, I just need to make sure it gets sufficient exposure when I kick it off!

What date is Salute? I have no idea if I'll be able to, but I may well see if I can actually come and say hello this year...

Salute is on the 16th April. Would be great if you fancied coming along and dropping by the stand - I'll have a few new minis and sculpts to show off (probably including a friend of Roban's...), and there will also be a really big game (by Twilight standards) if you fancied joining in  :)

Looks like I need to get in gear and set up a painting competition...

I will definately be at salute. Again. Hurrah!
