Another new set of models for Salute...

The Fubarnii Hunters move from village to village where they are employed to get rid of smaller predators across the Empire. They will sometimes assist the Empire's knights in locating Devanu nests, but will usually avoid getting too involved! The Graku hunting beasts are vicious but loyal creatures and are often seen accompanying hunters.

These were all sculpted by Mark Craggs, and I think he's done a great job! ;D

I've not sorted rules for these just yet, but I'll share some ideas soon...

I LOVE THEM.

Seriously, my Graku is one of my favourite WoT models so far, and he's definitely getting some friends. :D

Wow, they are great. Really like the look of the finished hunter - and the hunting 'hounds' suits him very well. Great job, Mark and Mike.

Ha, they came out pretty nice indeed.  ;D
Always odd waiting for pics of casts of your sculpts. You want to see them cast but know for sure you will be picking them to bits for areas to improve, Ive already spotted several on these lol.
Im pleased how the lower crouched Graku turned out as its just a repose of the original. Looking forward to doing more beasts  ;D

BTW Mike, these photos are very bright and clear. They show the figures off really well.
PS. any chance of a back view of the hunter ?

It is always scary/exciting isn't it!
I'll get some more photos of the back tomorrow if I get a chance.

Glad they are going down well - I do like how the herder range is turning out  :)

Nice work Kluteybabes!

I had only seen a wip of the second Graku until today and nothing of the hunter and I like what I see. Also I thought that the Graku were going to be either wild creatures or affiliated with the Devanu, but now I see that they are Fubarnii hunting beasts that changes my perception of them totally

(Which also means the first Graku will be getting a repaint Mr Thorp)

Didn't I mention that? Oops...
If you've painted him already then I'll give you another to go with the hunter.

:D

Cheers, but he's in a semi painted state of limbo while the new models have been going through production. I'll just start over on him when the hunter and Graku #2 get this far down the line

Fun as that might sound I do believe the pygmi-fubarnii would be first up for Graku lunch. They only put up with the hunter as he is good at tending to their wounds. The hunter only puts up with the Graku's bad temper because , well, they are bad tempered buggers and handy in a scrap. Its quite a symbiotic relationship and once well established, the hunter/graku group is very loyal to each other.
