I thought I'd only have time to do one miniature, but I had a counter-part to the Delgon derak strider that I couldn't resist painting as well.
The result is a 'Clash of Cultures' as two nations approach a similar need with different solutions:

Lovely paint job. I especially like the dark eyes on the knight.

The armour on Danomar is excellent. Shows colour choice is just as important as application (which, btw, I'm not suggesting is lacking!)

Really nice work on both the figures. The conversion work is great and they pop out the screen in the first picture wonderfully, even if the colour balance is off. Nice stuff!

Excellent job, Laughing Ferret. Smiley Danomar's armour is very striking, and the strider looks great in his dark colours. Smiley

As can be expected, a really good conversion on the Kal'Derak'Malog there, a favourite of mine. Wink

Thanks for all the kind words everyone!

I re-shot the photo and color worked out fine this time, so i replaced that image, and still within the June Deadline. phew!

Thanks for the comments on Danomar's armor. I knew I wanted that color- I'd used it on my Devanu where they have scavenged fubarnii armor pieces, but the accent and saddle color was throwing me for a long time. I'm liking the orange leather and really looking forward to painting my fubarnii militia.

The orange is awesome and not overpowering on the model. I particularly like the contrast with the cooling lime/green. That really works for me. Lovely entry, there are some really good entries in this competition, which is great to see!

Beautiful paintjobs on these.
The strider conversion looks seamless and Danomar stands out with his bright armour and the colours work perfectly.
Good presentation with the photos as well  Smiley
