Salute is closing fast and I've got a bunch of announcements for the next couple of weeks  Grin

First up I'm excited to present some master casts of a new civilian from Mark Craggs. This cute little fubarnii is quite the dandy, with a mighty fine hat and a paintbrush.

If you are lucky enough to be going to Conpulsion this weekend then Pyre-Studios will have a few early release copies, otherwise you can wait a couple of weeks and get hold of him at Salute, or from the Pyre store. There are only a limited number of copies available at this time, but he'll be on full release later this year! I hope you like him Smiley

Looks great inked up.
I did muse over an easel but thought that would mean he would need a pallette not a pot, and more brushes. In the end I decided to go this route as more like a sign writer.

I could imagine him with an easle, or painting a mural... He needs a set of painting bowls in lots of different colours scattered around him.

Today I've got a new Devanu to share. This is the first Twilight mini sculpted by Aaron Brown, based on a sketch I did for Geckilian a couple of year's ago.

When devanu jenta reach a certain age they are kicked out of their tribe and they either die, latch onto another tribe, or on some occasions particularly powerful young jenta will pull together a group of other Jenta. These bands are particularly dangerous as they are often more desperate and less careful than the more established tribes. Rules for this guy are very much WIP, but he'll allow you some new options for your Devanu, or you can just use him as an alternate hunter. Please let me know what you think!

She looks good. I like the improvised weapon. I'm interested to see what the new options for the Jentas will be.

I've just posted that I'll bring my forces with me to salute. By the looks of these I'd best be sure to bring my bank card too..... great looking stuff all round!

Nice!

I love the artist, very fun figure.  I need to pick up some of the fubarnii civilians for scenario use, this guy's definitely high on the list.

The jenta looks good too - I love Aaron Brown's sculpting and he seems to have done a great job with this model.  Fits the other Devanu very well.

Too bad I'll have to wait a while to pick these up, since I live state-side, but I'm looking forward to it.

From what ive seen I say you have been busy, and for the best reason, man there are certain things which just happen World of twilight is the future of games Id throw myself in head first to explore the psychology behind being happy and playing these amazing games.

When ever I have tried to keep my gaming habits in order every thing out side them just got harder, I raise my flagon to those wanderers who have ever tasted the victory of wet rain on the face after a dark night of adventuring gl hf gb !!!.

These are my big release for Salute this year. They've been on pre-release at Pyre previously, but they are ready for full release now!

These Dhogu are little multi-part models, with a main body and separate heads and arms. This is the first time I’ve had a go at such variable models. They assemble reasonably easily, look good (in my opinion) and give lots of options, but they are a bit of a pain to pack! So far I’ve got variants with spears and bows. I’ve also done a pair of knife arms for the ‘skinner’ (a scout and guide who is never seen without his skerrat hunting beasts) and a hookstave for the leaders. The Dhogu are also supported by Yirnak riding cavalry, who I am particularly pleased with. I hope you like them too!

In case you are interested, here’s a bit of background: The Dhogu are natives of the Setir mountains, who live a migratory life in the snowy conditions. They have a well deserved reputation as bandits and raiders, descending from the snow to ambush unwary travellers. Recently they have also been seen alongside the Delgon forces, guiding them through difficult conditions to strike in force where the Empire is not expecting.

Oh, and here's a little composite Ben (Emberbreeze) put together based on my painted models...

I think these guys are probably the best minis you've done...but then I love snow & winter so I'm a tad biased Cheesy

Looking forward to painting some.

Any news on the rules?
