I'm afraid the Devanu purple mouths don't quite work for me, but I love the priesty stridery things.  The green on otherwise black and grey makes it really striking.

Welcome Bruce

Im sorry to hear that you are drifting away from your wife. It is sad when that happens. I hope you find some inspiration from the great group of people we have here.

Maybe we need to start pestering Geckilian for another update to bring this thread back on topic... I want to see that derak-wielding strider finished!  Smiley

I actually have 5 Derakeers and the Derakeer Strider half painted, plus a lot of stuff basecoated, a few base layers done on Knights and so forth. I've been a tad caught up doing character figures for other games, but Twilight is definitely, albeit slowly, coming along.

Glad to hear it!
Are you going to make it to Salute this year?

I most certainly am. I'm happy to bring along all that I've painted by that point if it's needed or you'd like to see it in person. The goal is to have all the Devanu done, most of the Delgon done, and the Empire Knights done. Fairly ambitious, but I tend to work better with deadlines.

Certainly been a while, but finally a tiny update -

That's the first Stormtrooper, of 5. Large photos certainly aren't kind.... Several retouches have been done thanks to it at least.

Also on the workbench is another 8 Grishak, 28 Knights, Danomar, 10 Delgon Derakeers, 13 various Striders and 2 Devanu to finish off. The aim is to get them all done by Salute. Here goes...

Some more progress! Finished another 4 Striders, one of which is the Strider Derakeer from a while ago -

Another 4 Stormtroopers and 5 normal Derakeers are very close to being done, no more than a couple of hours I hope. Should mean there are more updates tomorrow.

After the current group, I'll be rebasing the Engineer Priest, and painting up his personal bodyguards as well as a few Grishak and some of the many Knights.

Excellent works here, GecKilian - really love you dark colour scheme. Brings out a rather suitable dark age feel to them. And like some rather nice conversions in there as well.

But like Mike said - round shields? What were you thinking of?  Tongue - but looking forward see the next batch, nevertheless.
