Last year I followed the Warploque KS (although I didn't get anything) as I liked his sculpting style.

On hearing that the Death Kiwi had been released, I popped over to his web page to have a look at them...

I quite liked what I saw, until...

I realised they were on 50mm bases and was blown away !

(All we need now is some Twilight stats for them)  Smiley

These would look great as hunting birds, nice find!
If I remember well, the KS was also promoted here on the forum.
So perhaps Mike is willing to do some kind of crossover and provide stats.

I was in two minds as to whether or not to post anything...
until I spotted the thread (about the KS) that Mike had started  Smiley

I can just imagine them bearing down on some unfortunate explorer within the Naralon Forest.  Cool

They would fit quite well with Twilight  Smiley
I was tempted to get some for myself, but never quite got around to it... Maybe at salute. More than happy to discuss stats for them as well. They'd be fun as targets for a devanu hunt, or as unusual fubarnii mounts...

By the way - I'm never going to mind people sharing other cool minis here, particularly when there is potential crossover value  Grin

Saw them yesterday too, very tempting. Could be count as Lizard-Cav for my Skink army too....

Or new mounts for the Noble-Knights...

I was wondering how big they actually are.

So using the widths of the bases as a guide...
I came up with this size comparison pictue.

I too can imagine the devanu hunting them, as there is a lot of meat on those drumsticks !  Wink

Ooh, noble mounts, ... Now that is a great idea!
They are exactly the right size for World of Twilight too.

As for the scores, perhaps something like this:

35 points

Move:10
Combat: 3
Support:1
Tough: 3+
Stamina: 1

Command range: 6"

Death run *(C):
Can move twice, the second move also uses the standard movement rules.

Fearsome cry (C):
Troops and beasts attacking the kiwi can't get a Support bonus from friendly units.

Pack (1)(L):
Activate up to one friendly model with the pack ability.

I didn't want it to look like a Grishak statwise and it is also quite large. Hence the Stamina point and fearsome cry.

Maybe they will be a nice addition for the upcoming Casanii faction, as herding beasts for handlers or a riding beast for a chief.
It would also make sense for rich nobles to give them to their guards as they look pretty exotic.

Great stats.

They certainly look very tempting and would fit in well with Anyaral.

Just saw this:

I think it shows well how easy it is to convert the kiwis (for Counterblast in this page).
