Nope, it is 10. You've only posted 9 times so far, so you are still a hatchling  Tongue

Yeah militia can't kill them easily and Knights kill them too easily.......that's where the balance issue is, I think.....

The scenario at the moment is called "who ordered take out?" The Fubarnii are escorting the Baruk carrying lots of food to a village (board edge) for the staving Jenta when they are attacked by a pack of wild Grishak.

I like the idea of upgrading one Grishak to an alpha - Kopa - head of the pack.......possibly with a 1 stamina ability too, to help him stand out...... Huh

Getting the conversation back on topic... have you tried any of the changes out yet? What stamina ability were you thinking of?

No I haven't yet  Sad
Don't really know about abilities yet either, might have to look at my "dood" abilities see if I can figure something out   Undecided

Any ideas for a Grishak Kopa?

Simply giving the Kopa Combat Discipline (2 stone reroll) would have a huge impact, especially if combined with an extra CS. You could go for combat trained with 1 stamina as well, which would be in keeping.
The main thing is to try and balance the extra abilities against the single point failure, rather than creating an overly powerful beast.

We had another go at this and tweaked the Fubarnii force again....this time they had two squads of 5 militia with captains and the two knights guarding 2 Baruks. Grishak still at 6 strong needed to eat both Baruk to win and the Fubarnii needed to get at least one to the village.

Scott split the Fubarnii in two, surrounding the Baruks with militia. Knight out in front with captains at the back.
Both Knights got taken out quickly and one Baruk was slaughtered by a devasting 4 attack charge!  The Fubarnii fought back and a couple of coordinated strikes later I was down to only one lonely Grishak!
Luckily a black stone was pulled first and seeing an opportunity he charged into the rear of the exposed Baruk and........completely fluffed the chance to win!  The militia captain then 6or7 stone coordinated striked the poor thing dead.........

That was a bit closer than some of the other games and was still a ton of fun!   Grin

That's a lot more troops for the Fubarnii! Having two captains will make a huge difference as you've at least got some redundancy. I think the grishak will have a hard time now, but that's only fair after having such an easy time of it previously...
Glad you had a good game Smiley

We came up with an idea for the Grishak Kopa:

move:12  tough:4  combat:3  support:1  stamina:1

command: 8"
pack  charge  pack hunter  savage

alpha male* if model charges and kills a model then up to 2 friendly Grishak in command range can immediately move+charge for free
regardless of wether they have already activated this turn.

We tried with 5 Grishak and Kopa vs 2 x 5 militia with captains, 2 x knights and 2 Baruk.

Grishak won, Kopa's ability proved quite deadly for thinning out the militia with mass charges!  I think I was down to the Kopa and 2 Grishak but had killed both Baruk, wheras Scott had lost just over half his force.

More importantly still fun, and still screaming "SKRAAWWW" when the Grishak charge in    Grin
