Hi, I'm James and I'm in near Perth in Scotland. Mainly play Warmahordes, 7TV  and lots of boardgames, Been really keen on the Twilight mini's since I discovered them in 2012 but haven't taken the plunge till now, sorry Mike for being such a cheapskate Smiley
Really looking forward to seeing the range expand and a little bummed that I missed out on the Kickstarter. Currently painting up some Dhogu and Delgon and also making some theme terrain.

Welcome!

I wouldn't worry about taking your time to get started. It took me two years to get around to painting my first knight and well.... Ummm..... Good luck stemming the flood now you've started is all I can really say - they are addictive subjects of the brush! Grin

welcome.   Smiley

Currently making a Delgon Tower, stuck making push moulds trying to make uniform windows, and some Dhogu Gers/yurts.

Pictures to follow Smiley

That sounds like a great starting point! Have you got good reference material for everything? Andreas is currently working on a new piece of art for the delgon which I will share soon.

Roleplaying games are a bit like a holiday. You visit new places and meet interesting people.

Welcome to the forums and no better introduction than the painted miniatures (which look great).

Nope, had a piece of packaging from a babyliss easy cut hair trimmer sitting around, that is really nicely textured with a number of 'towers'.
