They look so much better and more colourful in real life.....when I started re-working these I decided I wanted this game to look bright and fun, with lots of bright colours I don't generally use!

I originally painted my Fubarnii with various shades of brown skin....which just wasn't cutting the mustard for my new brief - hence the "possibly controversial" decision to go blue:

Empire - various shades of blue (mainly light) with Orel more turquoise and Engu (if i do them) a dark blue
Delgon - purple
Dhoghu - grey
Casanii - warlock purple (old paint lol)

Bases also needed to look brighter than usual so decided I wanted a similar look to old school Rackham confrontation bases....

sand painted green, with a light drybrushing of yellow and cork rocks painted grey.  Base ring is also painted a dark green.
To make more modern I added a few tufts of grass and flowers Smiley

Managed to finish off this knight last night.....the idea is all of my "Imperial knights" will have bone white colour armour

Well the photos were worth waiting for, some interesting colour selection that really works and they are all finished off very nicely (basing etc).  I'm looking forward to seeing more now!

Trust me, there's no such thing as too many pics of painted minis.

And those Graku are brilliant! The rest are looking good too, but the colour action of the Graku is top rate,
