Hello all,

I just wanted to start this projectlog for my new addiction: World of Twilight. Cheesy
A projectlog is for me to keep motivated and I hope to get some good suggestions for my work in progress from you guys (and girls?)

At Salute I bought a starterset of the Fubarnii Empire and the Casanii, also a loaded Belan with rider.

I started yesterday with the three Empire Knights and just put the base coats on there.
My idea is to make the Fubarnii Knight the same colour but their Enuks I would like to paint in all different colours.

For my first headbreak: what coulour would I use for the armour and uniforms?
I like the Red and Blue as the are used at all the pictures I see, but I like to do my own thing....... Wink
I think I will experiment on these three knights and see what comes up.

Now for my first pic:

This is it for my first post, please feel free to comment.

And why not a double-coloured scheme ?
Red-white, or green-gold, or whatever Grin

Even metallic or leather aspect.

My initial thought for you would be white armour.

If you have multi coloured Enuks, white won't clash or get lost with any of those.

It also allows you to use either the red or blue colours you like as the spot colour to pick out details like the markings on the shields, so it will be present, but not rule the paint job.

Just a thought - I look forward to seeing your progress, whatever direction you decide to go in!

Glad you are starting a project thread Smiley
@paul: White? It could look great, but isn't the easiest of options!

White could work...or at least a very, very light grey with white highlights.

Looks like a good start by the way, I like the different coloured Enuks.

White would be different and I'm intrigued to see how it would look.

That's a great start! White armour will probably look great if the rest of your miniatures are going to be so colourful.

Update of the Knights!

Here are two pics of a concept I was thinking of: Orange (Yes, that's my Dutch blood.... Wink) and white.

Still work in progress, have to do some more highlighting and I am thinking of a pattern on the Rider and the Enuk, then the base..........but what do you guys think?

Looking good!

Thank you also for the note that orange is the colour of the Netherlands. I did know this but had forgotten. It means that by happy coincidence, I've just started painting a halfling army in a colour of the lowlands  Cheesy Grin
