Jenta Spear

Here is the new release for the Devanu - another Jenta to add to the family!
It's kinda difficult to photograph, and it's not been painted yet, but hopefully it'll give you a good idea what it looks like!



Rules for the Jenta Spear will be in 'Of Gods and Demons', finally giving the Devanu some ranged attack options.

At least there is a little Devanu love at Salute.    Poor Devanu.

Hopefully after salute we'll see a few more Devanu models.

I'm thinking about them right now:
- Alpha Grishak, Devanu Slaver, Maybe another unique Kopa, Devanu Stalker, Devanu from Delgon regions (maybe wearing furs or maybe with 1 strider leg?).  Just some ideas here for another time

I like the added spears on the back, does that mean they will have limited ammo as far as gaming goes ?

Spears  Yeah, why not - and the miniature sure looks good. Should be a joy painting, that's for sure.

I felt guilty that the Devanu were missing out, so set to work making sure this one was finished in time!
I certainly need to do a matriarch and a jenta beast handler as they are both in the book... I've got quite a good vision for the beast already, but less certain on the matriarch.

Arak is currently travelling through the cold north - he's already got furs 

I've not given the jenta limited ammo - I considered it, but wanted to keep things simple. Just assume they manage to retrieve them, or steal more...

Just being devils' advocate as the arms may well be more dexterous than they look

That aside I think it's brill. I like the idea of them "finding" stuff to chuck too, in lieu of retreiving the actual spears

How does he get the spears off his back?

It's a clever little cartwheeling backflip manoeuvre. Fatalities of young jenta trying to learn the move are sadly rather common.
