Hey I was hooked in by those awesome looking minis at Salute today and somehow after a game found my friend and I coming home with £75 worth of Fubarnii and Devanu between us. So soon glorious battles will be unfolding, with my steadfast Militia desperately dying for the empire. I also love these crazy and different backgrounds they're great.

So yeah, if i spoke to you may remember me as the one with crazy ginger hair. Anyway looking forward to getting stuck in to the world of Bakhan.

Welcome, I saw so many people today I can't remember if you played the demo, watched the big game. Look forward to hearing stories of the valiant militia against the evil devanu (and pics)

I think you're right there - it's unlikely that another 2x2 involving someone with similar hair to frog of dhoom took place anyway... I'm the friend of FoD that played against you two. It seems that the demo game did it's job of inspiring interest!

What force do you think you'll lean towards, Megatron0?

Sounds great - glad you enjoyed the demo game, and well done finding your way here!

I have to ask though, who won the game? Did the priest escape?

Fubarnii is the Force that I like the best. I like the knights and the engineers and the overall theme that they have.
Sadly the priest didnt escape. Using the delgon as a 'tar pit' we were able to race the priest across the left of the board after Mechanical legs model destroyed a Devanu (killing himself in the progress). I had repositioned the delgon with guns at appropriate  intervals and 4" away to stop a Devanu using 'leap' out of combat (he was engaged with the acolyte and a bodyguard in the centre). What killed us was that the Matriarch was able to leave combat, sprint twice and go base-to-base with the priest and then we pulled a combat stone.
It was Delgon stew for supper it seemed...

It's the very fact they're infeasible that make the rising up so impressive. As for the Enuk, I hope you call her in the morning...

Hey everyone cheers for the welcome. Yes Megatron0 we did play that game together too bad we lost. One more turn and we would of escaped even one more activation and we could of boxed in the matriarch, never mind. I to am leaning towards the Empire.

Well looking forward to a few games and will try to post some pics Smiley

Right now my militia are just drying, i shall put up some pictures as soon as possible.  Cheesy
