I've realised that it's kinda difficult for people to know how to pronounce all the random words in the Fubarnii language, so I'm going to start a new thread to act as a simple guide. Just post any words you want to into the thread and I'll update the list and delete your post. Feel free to make comments or discussions in this thread as well, but post word requests on their own.

The Cultures/Races:
Fubarnii (foo-bar-nee)
Devanu (day-var-noo)
Delgon (dell-gone)
Enari (Enn-are-ee)

Beasts:
Belan (bey-lan)
Baruk (ba-ruhk)
grishak (grish-ak)
Yirnak (year-nak)
Erillai (eh-rill-eye)
Kosok (koss-ok)

Lifestages:
Jenta (jen-ta)
Sempa (sem-pa)
Kopa (Koh-pa)

General:
Derak (deh-rak) [note, the Delgon tend to pronounce this (dru-ak)]

I'm pleasently surprised to see I got most of those right. What about Kosok?

All right, bar devanu (I pronounced it with a hard "e").  Smiley

I think I vary a bit on that one myself...

Hooray, I got all those right!

Although I did feel that "Devanu" was more "De-vah-noo" (and which always makes think of Vic Reeves in Shooting Stars for some reason...), but it's a trifling difference and I bow to Mike's authority if he says otherwise!  Cool
