I need help naming the points... I've got some ideas but thought I'd see what you guys suggest as well (just in case they are better than mine). If I use your idea then you get a <insert suitable point-replacement name here>!

Here are some suggestions:

1. How about "Crescent" or "Gibbous"  - Taking from phases of the moon.
        - ie. You just earned one crescent for an idea.  Trade your crescents for free stuff.
2. You could earn "Gloams" which is a synonym of Twilight
3. Twinkle Points?         - ie. You now have two-hundred and fifty Twinkle points Wink
4. The currency of the empire would make a good name, was something like that ever mentioned before?  I don't ever remember reading a rambling about currency.  Could just call them "Emperor Coins".  You earned three Emperor Coins.  Trade in your Emperor Coins for rewards

I thought it was supposed to be a reward?

Tongue

I keep calling them Twiglets, but we might have IP issues with that one Cheesy

Empire monetary units sounds like a good idea. Or is there a Furbanii name for the combat stones (other than Erac and Oran?)

How about different types of Pree-Pree? crested, banded, different colours etc... different breeds could be given for certain types of achievements … or not. I'd imagine some people would build up quite a collection.  Grin

Each one would repreesent a "point"

Hmmm, interesting idea on the Pree-Prees. I had vaguely wondered about that one, but the idea of different breeds could be the clincher.

Painted Pree-Pree (painting), Sculpted Pree-Pree (sculpting), Common Pree-Pree (generally helping out), Royal Pree-Pree (special, worth four normal PreePree)...

There is a random thread on the forum that refers to the 'Gerrin' as the main currency, at least in the central empire. I think Pree-Prees sound more fun.

And if anybody gets a certain number of Pree-Pree (maybe 16?) then they get a free Pree-Pree (in addition to the normal prizes).

So what do you all think?

Purely for the concept of a "Free Pree Pree" and the trouble I just had even saying it in my mind as I read it, I vote for them!  Cheesy I'll take three....

Hey... Cool... How about a bit of variety?

  • Registering an account: Common Pree-Pree
  • Painting: Tufted-, Bristled-, Hairy-
  • Sculpting: Bladed-, Green-, Fingerprint-, Cured-
  • Gaming reports: Watching-, Scrivening-
  • Tactics articles: Scholarly-, Tutoring-

You could add Lesser or Greater to the front of it depending on the contribution. you could also add a Faction specific element:
 - Delgon: ice, Snow, rock,
 - Devanu: hooked, horned, beaked, clawed
 - Fubarnii: Tunnelling, Wandering, Hunting,  etc...

As an example; a member makes a really great post on painting Delgon. They are awarded a - Greater Tufted Snow Pree-Pree

Or would this just get ludicrous very quickly?
