Browsing today I saw this
http://www.tabletopgamingnews.com/2012/02/14/55107/Which is very similar to what I do, but in a different material. Got me to thinking whether I should change the tile material to a card base. Would be cheaper, not only because the material is cheaper but the card would take up much less time on the laser. A thin enough card would take all the bends of the conical roofs ok.
