Impressive speed indeed! Salute is providing a painting goal for myself, but I'll never match your output - inspiring!

Cheers for the comments everyone! As is probably clear, the only reason I paint fast is I tend to aim for tabletop gaming level. I wouldn't be winning any awards with these guys unless it's due to a game!
At any rate I've just got home from work, so once I've finished assembling a War Walker it's time for Twilight painting.

It's that magical time for an update!
Finished the 3 KalGush and the 5 KalJoran shields, and went back and added all the stitching to the legs , which I noticed I'd forgotten to do yesterday. So, here are some group shots.
The new priests -
Two of the newly painted bodyguards either side of an older goggled conversion -
All my footslogging clergy with bodyguards -
The new KalJoran -
All of my KalJoran as a nifty shield wall -
The 3 new KalGush with the 2 older ones -
The might of the Delgon gunnery korps -
Not too bad going there I reckon. Tomorrow I'll finally get around to painting the NuraLehn'Malog banner, as well as hopefully painting up the 2 Skerrat, 2 Dhogu, a Yirnak rider and a pair of Yirnak.

your definition of gaming standard is a lot higher than many others' definitions! We're painting to the same standards, so I still dont have an excuse
Looking forward to seeing these at salute, and whilst I dont think my forces would stand a chance in a force on force battle, I'm willing to try just for the spectacle of it!

Cheers again guys. Thanks to a Star Wars operation (raid) and a game of Twilight against my other half, I didn't get as much painting done as I'd hoped.
I managed to finish 2 Yirnak sans snow, and 2 alpha Grishak are nearly finished too, just ridges and base to go. The third alpha Grishak is now half done, as is a Yirnak rider and both priests. The 4 Dhogu have been started, but aren't even a quarter done currently.
Though it's a long work day today I'm hoping to finish up all 3 Kopa, the 2 priests and paint the 2 Skerrat since they're small. I'll probably try to get a bit more done on the Dhogu, but they'd just be a bonus.
Pictures of all the new stuff later today in the evening, so bases are finished etc.

Aha, managed to get these guys done today (kinda) as per the plan! I didn't finish the 3rd Alpha Grishak, but still it's another 8 completed since the last photo update.
The pair of Yirnak and Skirrat -
A NuraKira and NuraSen Gohral himself -
Two mighty Alpha Grishak (the pic wasn't brightened as it's the closest to the actual colour this way) -
Compared to a normal Grishak affectionately nicknamed 'Gimpy' due to his lower jaw -
The grishak horde!
This just leaves the 6 Knights of Relan, 4 Dhogu, 2 Yirnak riders, the Devanu Jenta beast handler and the last Alpha Grishak. So down to 14 models with 5 days left available to paint. Certainly doable.

ok, its getting sickening now, but in the best possible way. The mere fact you mention 6 knights of Relan in passing sets me a challenge. I was just wondering if I'll be able to finish my 3. They're the last 3 combat figures I have to paint for my Fubarnii and they're 50% done. I'm certainly not backing out on them now!

Those are great, as usual. My nurakira and Gohral are painted very similarly to yours!
I like the tones on the yirnak and skerrats!

I look forward to seeing the finished 3 Knights of Relan at Salute TuffSkull! I've not actually seen any pics of your priests Mike, are they posted up anywhere?
Currently I'm taking a painting break, as I can only paint so much before I feel somewhat like clawing my eyes out. On the plus side, as there's only the flesh to go, I should have 4 Dhogu and a Yirnak rider posted up within the hour.

Those are really really nice. Good use of the spare knife on the hunter. Maybe that cloaked head is salvageable (wasn't too sure of it, but a few have made their way into some sets).

I still really like that cloth-wrapped head - makes me think the trapper/skinner is daring enough to go to places where exposure is a serious problem and he simply wraps his face up and gets the job done. Sorted.
Also, glad you like them. I tried to stick relatively close to Taelan's bio page on them, though I opted for a paler more pastel green for a 'pop' colour without it being too jarring. I also had your pic up as reference to compare whilst painting them, good stuff there.
If you decide against the cloaked heads then I will happily liberate them from you.
