Just watched 'The Cabin in the Woods'. Very strange, but kinda fun. Definitely felt like a Joss Whedon style film!
Anybody else seen it?

It certainly was a Joss Whedon film, the irreverent dark humour certainly held true - though seeing said Unicorn in action, well that was -different.
I recommend it for a alternate take on Horror, much like
Firefly
is to
Star Trek

I quite liked it, although I don't think Jules was of the same opinion!
The final act was certainly chaotic, while keeping true to the set-up.

I very much enjoyed that film, as did Stella. Gotta love the moment with the merman - "Oh come on!"

Ive not seen this film but by our descriptions it sounds like your making it up or its one random film.

Definitely not making it up! Worth seeing if you like horror films. Prob best not to watch with Mael though!
That merman scene was somehow inevitable

Not a big fan of horror films to be honest but might have to watch for the random value

I wouldn't call it horror, really. It's more a comedic take on all the usual horror tropes.
