WHERE’S GIL MASHAL?

Gil awakes, dazed and confused, cold and hungry as she remembers the horrors of the night before.  The caravan she was travelling was ambushed by a Devanu and slaughtered, after suffering a clout round the head, she managed to crawl away to her hiding spot where she passed out.  Voices! She hears voices.  Not knowing whether they be friend or foe, Gil crawls up into a ball hoping that whoever is looking for her will pass by.

This scenario can be played by any starting force or equivalent and equal points value.

SET-UP
You will need to place several pieces of terrain in which Gil can hide.  Place one in the centre of the table and the others 8-12” from each other and no closer than 12” from any table edge.  You can place other terrain around the edge but cannot be used has the possible hiding place.

You will need to place 6 tokens, villager models will be ideal in the terrain pieces.

Draw an Initiative Stone to see who will choose which table edge to start from and deploy first within 6” of that table edge.  The other player deploys in the same way along the opposite edge.

OBJECTIVES
The player who finds Gil and gets her off any table edge apart from their deployment edge will win the game.  The player will also win if they are in possession of Gil and the opposing player has lost all their Elites.

The game will end when Gil is removed from the table or one player has lost all his Elite models.

FINDING GIL
When models enter a terrain piece with a token and not in B2B contact with an enemy and have not moved faster than Cautious speed, they may search for Gil.
Cast one stone for each model searching, up to a maximum of 4 stones.  If 3 or more successes are cast then Gil has been found.  If Gil has not been found, remove the token.
If Gil has not been found and there is only one token left, then she will be at that location.

If a player has lost all their Elites and Gil has not been found, then the other player can search all the remaining hiding places for Gil, but in this instance, she will not automatically be in the last hiding place as she has again crawled from the scene and the game is a draw.

When Gil has been found she may be activated at the same time as any model in BTB contact with her.  She can only be activated once per turn and has a Move of 5.  She cannot be targeted or hurt by any form of attack.

This sounds like a very fun scenario! I really like the fact you can play it with any starter force and also the mechanic you describe to find Gil.
Very nice!

Cheers Smiley Also need to add that Gil has no profile in this scenario, she is basically just an objective counter.
