So, as tomorrow is the first fair where I'll present this beautiful little game, here the first teaser of my miniatures and terrain:

A Hunter with his Grishak hiding between some bren trees

Hope you like it!

Wow, your terrain looks amazing, the trunk of the trees really fits the world.
How did you make them?
More pictures will be very much appreciated.

The miniatures are a bit hard to see, but the Grishak on the left looks very good.

Sorry for the late reply, Kryptovidicus, but I was presenting all day Smiley
The trees were made with wire and putty mostly, the cheap one. and the foliage is an extra topic, if you guys want I'm happy to do a quick tutorial, just let me know Smiley

Of course most of the interested people today were people with some tabletop background, but it was still pretty amazing.

After the first couple of games, that I directed, they just played one game after the other, and we ended up with four new players for now, so I can organize the first Austrian Mastership Wink yeah, we'll probably really do that Wink Just for fun Smiley

Anyways, It was just a wonderful day, and special thanks to Mike for his extra Facebook support!!!

Here are some extra pics form today, rest will follow the next days Smiley

Don't worry about the late reply, I'm not that inpatient.
Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun.
The miniatures and the terrain in the photographs look great by the way.

An Austrian Mastership, ... wish I lived closer Wink.
I would have loved to participate and it would no doubt get me painting again ...
With two kids and a hard time at work my miniatures are only gathering dust right now.

It was a hell lot of fun. I mostly played with old tabletopers, of course, you just can't sell a pretty much specialist game to beginners. It's hard enough selling tabletop anyways nowadays. But I got four new players, which brings us to 7 in Vienna alone, and I haven't even started bugging my friends in Salzburg, who are done with 40k and Warmahordes Wink

So I'm really pleased, I have new enemies to play with Wink

So, a quick breakdown of the last weekend, pictures please follow the link above, there are too many to post here Smiley

I played the first testgame against Sebastian, long story short the Devanu ate his Empire troops, and we both forgot tons of special rules.

Oh, we always played till the last model, as with only one Elite, the game could end too quick to even learn the basic rules.
As seen in this second game. Now I knew the special rules, and two new players wanted to try the game. In Turn 3 or so, the Graku bit the Hunters ankle, which fell, crushing the Graku and breaking his neck. Well. Game over in theory, but they kept playing. In the end there was one Grishak against 4 Militia inclusive Captain. The Grishak won. Well....

We hat a couple of other players trying the game, and I had a fun Delgon Testgame with just blasting two Militia and the Captain in turn 3. But other than a couple of questions here and there, it was a really fun weekend with almost 15 games (mostly the same guys then, but hey, we have a group of 7 now here Smiley )

So, that's the short report for today, maybe I get some painting done over the weekend, and you get a report on the Kal Malgog.

cheers,

All sounds great. Are you making your event a competitive championship, or more of a campaign event?

Probably only a normal competitive one. We all basically only have the starter forces at that point then, so most scenarios aren't playable without too much modification. But we'll see, that's like two or three month in the future Wink
