A few days ago I saw a message on Cheaphammer's blog, with the anouncement he was going to participate in a 6 month painting challenge. It looks like fun and I decided to join in too.

Anyone up for it?

Might be in. I don't have to worry about running out of minis. Mike just needs to wait with new stuff till we're done Wink

Otherwise I will burn these Jokers pretty fast Smiley.
I hope he can hold back the release of the Casanii.

True, and you would get Jokers if you actually finish them.
Making us happy too Smiley.

I'll duck out of this one guys, but it sounds like a version of "the pledge", which I myself have tried to operate under for a long time (wow, over four years in fact! http://hobbybrush.blogspot.co.uk/2011/05/taking-pledge.html ! .

Haven't actually run the numbers at all this year though..... Think I'm good...  Undecided

Good luck to you all!

Edit: I just noticed that I opened my pledge with my first fubarnii knight... How apt!   Cheesy

I could also just start an Iron Painter, 24 hours of wonderful painting miniatures. And being brain-dead. At least I finished my Dark Eldar this way. Wink

24 hours, that's murder Smiley!

The pledge sounds like a great idea to go through my leadpile as well. Do you still abide it Paul?
Thank you for the idea!

I need to renew my pledge. Haven't been strict with it this year and haven't kept up with the actual numbers but it's usually still at the back of my mind certainly when it comes to the numbers of figures. It does stop me backing too many of the big kickstarters as I'll never make up the mini-debt!

Whilst I think I've strayed on the money side of my own pledge, I am just organising the sale of £1500.oo of 6mm sci if to put that back on track too!

Wow, £1500 that's a lot of money. From which 6mm range are they?
I suppose all expertly painted by yourself?
