It’s been exactly two years since I launched the first World of Twilight Kickstarter. Travels through Anyaral was a great success and the anniversary seems like an excellent excuse to announce that I’m launching another campaign!

On the 16th March we’ll be launching ‘The Casanii of Anyaral’ on Kickstarter. This will be a small campaign to help me get this new culture into production, with a mix of metal warriors and hopefully some larger resin cavalry to give a completely different feel from the previous forces.

I’ve spent the last few months sculpting the core figures and Joe is now feverishly painting up some of the master castings so watch this space for some previews over the next couple of weeks in the run-up to the launch.

I'm a bit out of touch, but ready to pledge anyway!
Perhaps it is a chance to finally get a friend collectief the game so I have a regular opponent.

I've been showing some images on Facebook - it's a bit tricky for me to update those directly here from my phone, but I'll do my best to try and get them all on here as well!

This is the finished sculpt of Loranti Pargel, trader extraordinaire, complete with his parasol. Mike added plenty more baggage from the previous images and he's got a big collection Casanii charm stones hanging from the rugs on the baruk's back. These stones are thought to attract good spirits to guide and protect travellers.

The first couple of pics are of the first resin casts Mike got back from Rob at Warploque, one of which is now with Joe to get a lick of paint!
The other photos show the (almost) final sculpt before it went off for casting.

We hope you like how he's turned out!

Like him? I think he looks amazing! Even though he is in a relaxing pose, he doesn't look boring at all.
He certainly will be a very interesting model to paint.

So, as someone who hasn't started playing this game yet (it's at the very top of my list of games to start), I was planning on grabbing some of the of the support material from the store. Rulebook, accessories, that kind of stuff.

Should I wait? Also, new figs look so super fantastic.

Glad you seem to like him Smiley
Joe's been sending me some wip shots and it's coming along nicely!
@derekkinsman: it's probably worth waiting until next Wednesday - there will be a Newcomer pledge that might be a good place to get started, or you might just decide to go for the more standard starter set in the store. Both options would give you the book, stones, dice and a couple of forces to play with.
