Steve painted the original Fubarnii and Devanu that I used at the first demo game a couple of years ago, and then painted up Roban and his Striders for last year's demo. Since then he's been painting up a force of Delgon for me, and it's now getting to quite a respectable size! I now just need to get him to add a few shocktroopers (once they are in production) and maybe some more standard troops...

Sorry if the photos aren't that crisp, but I had to squeeze in a photo session while Lexie was having her nap.

I really like what Steve has done, and I hope you do too! Grin

The whole force:

Roban:

The priest and his bodyguard (sorry about the focus being off...)

A couple of close-ups of the troops:

Pretty damn awesome. If that's the Roban that was at last Salute, it's the Roban that mushed both my Sempa and Kopa (or at least the demo ones  Wink)

Very nice force there! Makes me wish all my Delgon were already painted.

These look great. I love the stark contrast between the dark clothing colors and the snow bases.  Has me rethinking my initial plan to not do snow bases for my future Delgon.

They do look rather good en mass don't they! Looking forward to trying out the full force over Christmas, maybe with a few of my shocktroopers added for good measure  Smiley

For me, the only thing that detracts from the overall effect is the black base trims - they do set off the individual models well but I might have to have a play with GIMP...

Thankfully we're not on Frothers so I won't answer how I had initially intended Cheesy

Nut yes, for promo shots that would be a good idea. Painting the base edges white would not be any more helpful imo
