This may be a dumb question, but so be it. The Erillai - what is the raised section on the back and thighs? Scales? Tougher hide? I'm trying to paint them and have no idea what I should do... Roll Eyes

It's primarily a delineation - ben got it about right on his paint job. I imagine the back skin to be slightly thicker hide and darker in tone, but I'll be interested to see how you treat them.

they're great models, I'm having a lot of fun working on them. Not sure how well the color scheme i chose is going to work out, but we'll see...
