OOh idea moment.... Mercenary Fubarnii named Drussii. Stands a head above most other Fubarnii and is covered with solid muscle. Black leather and steel armour adorns this giant and a huge double bladed axe hangs from his back. He can often be seen travelling with his long time friend and bard, Siebensii, who helps to calm his terribly short temper.

This sounds more like a Delgon Belog, something like Roban. Could be a 2 model character unit. You must always play Drussi with Siebensii or something like that. I always thought of Fubarnii as a clumsy race. I don't think that this fits the image of Fubarnii. Now I wouldn't mind seeing a Fubarnii scout or runner/messenger. Mike said he wanted to flesh out the model with models that may not necessarly need play stats. I would love to see Fubarnii civilians. Maybe a farmer with a hoe or pickfork, Fubarnii mother holding her young, or maybe even a fubarnii carrying to pales of water on a stick over his shoulders. Could make scenarios like evacute to town and escort the civilians to safetly.

I'm not sure Mark was being entirely serious. Big strong fubarnii warriors do exist, but it's all a matter of scale - a huge strong Fubarnii warrior would still struggle to take on a young Devanu on his own. A Fubarnii scout/messenger would be a nice idea, and you are right that I'd like to do more civilians.

If you would like to sculpt Druss in Fubarnii form then I'll take that back and welcome him into the range

Hee! A troupe of wandering players isn't a bad idea though.

A delgon priest engineer.
I've actually made a quick headswap and weaponswap conversion for one of those ages ago, a day or two after salute. He even got primed yesterday, along with half of everything I got at Salute! One day he might even get painted, if he's lucky.

Nope, can't sculpt any high school kids here or zombies. Another model you could sculpt is a Devanu Egg nest on maybe a 40 mm base. Could be used as objective marker.

I would really like to see a few fubarnii villagers, maybe with improvised weapons/tools, a village leader type and definately some feral fubarnii!

I agree that lightly armoured militia would be a nice addition. Possibly something I could ask Mark to convert from the herders. How would you envisage a village leader? I've got a bunch of different ideas of how they might look, but any other suggestions would be good! Feral fubarnii will turn up eventually
