You just keep churning them out mate! Great work, and a really characterful addition with the Soothsayer. The Devanu skin Cap works really well on that figure & is perfectly painted to match. great work!

Cheers, though the camera flash is murderous. One of these days I'll make a proper light setup either than 'a piece of paper'. Commander Brenar is also done -

I'm loving the blue spot colour, good work mate.
Does anyone know what that beast on the shield is?

It's the white feyrenuk. A rare, possibly mythical beast that is said to live deep within the Naralon forests. Legend tells of a young fubarnii who saw the beast drinking at a waterhole on the edge of the forest. He was hunting and this beast would bring him great recognition. But something stayed his hand and he could not bring himself to kill it. The feyrenuk looked up from the waterhole, held his gaze and fled. The fubarnii lived his life, forever regretting that he could not make the kill. He went into the forests many times hunting the beast, occasionally glimpsing a flash of white amongst the trees, but he never saw the creature for more than a second. He grew old and had children, who themselves played in the woods. One time a huge grimblar fell upon the children, killing the hunter who was meant to protect them. All looked doomed until a white shape leapt from the forests. The grimblar and the feyrenuk fought viciously, but in the end they both perished. The children rushed home to tell their father, only to find him cold and dead on the floor, his old eyes fixed on a distant and beautiful memory.

Ooo a lovely tale Mike, I like it.
Megatron, a Grimblar is the other beast on the knight shields...I think Mike had one in the cabinet at Salute. Basically a vicious predator in Naralon Forest.

A grimblar is a large ambush-predator. A bit like a crocodile in some respects. It might even have visible teeth... I sculpted one a loooong time ago (twilight v0.1 circa summer 2000), but haven't revisited it yet. I'm nervous whether I can get it looking right!

Cheers guys, and a good tale there Mike. Finally got around to finishing these guys. It felt like they dragged on a bit, but my Twilight painting motivation is beginning to ebb slightly, I may need to take a break for a few days.

You clearly just need to give someone a good schooling on the battlefield to re-enthuse yourself. My forces are always ready to die if you want a road trip!
