Have you seen the large extinct mammal Brontotherium? Something along that sort of lines would be good  Grin
I had never heard of a Brontotherium, so went searching for a picture... and found one.  Smiley

The Moropus might also be a good starting point for a new creature too.  Cool

That period of huge mammals is great for inspiration! The brontotherium is very distinctive, but would be good for inspiring some more unusual tusks. I'm not sure I could imagine it as a mount though (although I've got nothing against sculpting beasts just for the fun of it!).

I like the Embolotherium, but most of them sure look like something we haven't seen in Anyaral.
From dinosaurs to large mammals, evolution sure goes fast here Wink.

This is a fun image:

I would like to do something inspired by the Chalicotherium.

The Chalicotherium is a bit apelike but would surely not look amiss on Anyaral.
Perhaps you can make him walk on his front legs like that alien from Star Wars 1 (sorry I forgot his name, the unfriendly pod racer)

i like the Brontops Robustus.  I like the powerful forelegs and shoulders as well as the overall ground clearance.  it's intimidating without being menacing....

I haven't yet managed to justify a creature that moves fast underground. I was tempted to do burrowing garkrid, but it would feel like cheating.

He's gone off to the casters today to get some unladen master casts done... Fingers crossed!
He's got another companion with him as well, but I've been keeping that one quiet so far  Smiley

It's obviously a second Grishak Jenta, so that we can have a pair.  Grin

@halcyon - keep pestering and it might eventually get done!
The other creature has been dubbed the 'birdlion'. Is that enough of a clue to keep you happy for the moment? Smiley
