I was looking around for terrain ideas and found this little gem.Although there isn't a set section the crystal section shows some of the sets, etc which I thought might be of interest.Furthermore the artifacts section has some awesome weapons, staves and sticks for your perusal. Both of these are under the galleries section

The Darl Crystal definitely inspired me when I was younger! Lots of fantastic art design that has certainly influenced Anyaral  Smiley
Good find on the website! The book of the film's design: "The World of the Dark Crystal" is really good, although it is quite expensive now.

How about Dinotopia?

Lots of it is too perfect with exact edges but there are some lovely ideas in there and the added bonus that there are dinosaurs in there for the scale, etc

Don't worry about being obsessed, it is nice to see such enthousiasm.
These are good sources for inspiration and I personally like the moss a lot. With a little trim, these will look great with the rest of my forest terrain once I can get myself to start building it.

The World of Twilight is often compared to the Dark Crystal, and it was this look which drew me into the game at first, only to realise there was such an amazing ruleset attached to it later Smiley.

Roleplaying games are a bit like a holiday. You visit new places and meet interesting people.

Lots of fun inspiration!
Moss balls - could work with a bit of experimentation
Ciclid rocks - also could be a nice basis for some interesting rock dwellings!
Cappadocia - Wow. I could certainly see the casanii living in those! I've taken inspiration from lots of interesting dwellings around the world, but those are particularly cool  Smiley
Dinotopia - I had fun introducing my daughter to these books a few months ago. Another one of those things that got mixed into the general melting pot of my subconscious when fleshing out Twilight! So many amazing buildings I would love to try and construct for the fubarnii...
Houses - More fun concepts Smiley

Are you going to make some scenery?

Well I am seriously considering starting with the cichlid rocks as with a little spray and joining a few together I could create the Cappadocia look with a twist. It would look v natural with the right aesthetic for the creatures of Anyaral.I have enough desert-ish scenery so seems the best way to crack on
I'd also like to create a more forest like setting too so those moss balls are easy additions to give cover but making treehouse might be a challenge too far
