I like the basing and the finished tree, an excellent start for a Kedashi Forest terrain board Grin.

As I mentioned in my critter post, I'm not sold on the white background, but it's too late now for a different background. At least it's done! Will take more later.

That looks just awesome!
It has a bit of a Ying-Yang effect with the light colours of the balloon and darker foliage on the tree.
An exceptional piece!

I have not really touched the building in the past weeks, as I'm concentrating on a sculpture. However, my son really likes the wip building, and he asked to make one with me, so we started that this weekend. Smaller, one story building, and we're using a happy meal toy roof instead of building it all from scratch. Smiley

Grin Cute! It looks a bit like mushroom house from the Smurfs.
Just curious, what are you sculpting?

It is indeed a Smurf roof, came with a Happy Meal McDonald toy. Saved an handful of them for terrain projects. Smiley

The sculpt I'm working on right now is a stuffed animal hippo ballerina. Since the photo, I've smoothed out the tutu. I'm almost done with her; mainly got to add the stitches in the back and the tab under the feet.

I saw a number of these projects on your site, are they just for fun or part of a larger project?
Looks great by the way, very clean and characterful.

It's mainly practice, both for sculpting and casting. I love chibi and other cute and cartoony style, so it's not a shore as a subject. I also find it a bit easier, more forgiving, than regular minis at a similar scale.

Right now, it's just some home casting, but I might want to have a official store eventually. I've gone through two molds of the unicorn now, and I'm retiring it, as it takes more of my hobby time than I want to pass on casting, at least as long as I'm not better equipped.

After a month away from any building or painting ( Cry ), I got back to my Fubarnii tower, that will anchor the balloon. Door frames and windows done.

The walls are now textured. Next up, roof tiling.
