The muted, realistic tones of the skin look really goo with the deep, rich red. Great work!

The colours really are better on your FB page, the highlights are showing and very subtle on the photo's over there. r

Hi all ! A little update of my fubarnii force: the first knight 2 others (including the knight captain) are on the way ! And a Family photo: My objective is to paint 2 forces of 200-250 points for the next june 13th: my association organise a convention, and i'd like to present a WoT demo table. Many work to do so far !

I forgot to give the recipe of my deep red: - on a black base coat, i apply a first layer of "scorched Brown" (old GW reference) - then a layer of a mix of "scorched Brown" + "dark flesh" (an other old reference) - layer of "dark flesh" only - highlight of "dark flesh" + "evil sunz scarlet" - highlight of "evil sunz scarlet" only (Each layer doesn't recover the totality of the surface of the previous colour) - wash of agrax earthshade on all the surface - the edges are passed with a mix of red + "Iyanden darksun" as a final highlight.
A bit long, but it's better to do a group of miniatures in a row.

That's a nice repose on the knight! Your reds really 'pop' nicely, particularly with the whites on the shield. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Are you going to paint the new militia captain (sword and shield) to go with the unit, or are you sticking with the old spear-armed one? What's the plan for the opposing force? Let me know if you need anything for your demo table - I'm always happy to try and provide support for that sort of event, even if it's just making sure you have plenty of reference sheets etc

Thanks for the recipe, I can see that coming in useful on quite a few things.
