The Kal Joran (shocktroopers) are a new troop option for the Delgon forces - wielding nasty little picks and heavy shields they are powerful both on the charge and in defence. During the recent 'Retribution' attacks that the Delgon have been carrying out against the empire small units have on several occasions broken through into the tunnels below the town, ensuring that the main attack was successful.
These are one of the new releases for Twilight that I'll have at Salute. They'll be sold as a pair of master castings for £6. As usual, Ben has done a great job with the painting.

I've been keeping the Kal Gush fairly under wraps until now, but having just received images from Ben I'm a bit too excited to wait any longer Grin
The Delgon have recently started fielding the Kal Gush within their ranks. They deploy weapons that have been modified from devices used throughout the empire for fertilising fungal crops. The delgon have experimented with a number of different contents for the 'gushrak', generally consisting of noxious or flammable chemicals, but some more enterprising Kal Gush have experimented with converting the gushrak into a full blown flame thrower.
I really hope you like him!
As usual, it was painted by Ben, and master castings will be available at Salute.

Can see the excitement. He is certainly a master piece - and definitely a must have. Sadly Salute is to far away for me. Hope he'll have a general release soon after. And hope there - in time - will be a variant or two.

I hadn't really thought about doing a variant on the Kal Gush, but it might be fun at some point. Even if it's just a case of changing the head for a different style of mask...
Ben's paintjob on the KalGush is great - he looks even more sinister than I expected! Smiley

Very nice indeed, I can see myself fielding quite a few of those...

Damn Delgon getting all the good toys!  Grin

(Seriously though, a couple more specialist engineers for the Fubarnii force would be really nice to avoid us looking too technologically inferior). Tongue

But maybe they are? I don't see any Fubarnii striders... maybe all those years in the hills without the devanu eating them let the delgon get a head-start.

The Empire make lots and lots of cool toys. Then they forget about them and build something else newer and more exciting  Grin
The Delgon will generally look more technologically advanced as they are on a Mission from God and are a tad more focussed and keen to turn the cool crazy ideas into mass produced weapons of doom.
I'll try and do some more crazy Empire inventions though, just to keep you happy. I wonder what Alan would make of a backpack mounted helicopter... Wink

Exactly, and that's why Mike really should do one more variant (at least). Think you should expand this idea here, Mike. The design is absolutely wonderful.

Certainly true, but I'll be converting more mask variants anyway.

The Kal Gush looks great.  You're going to make get some Delgon, aren't you?   Grin  I was trying to stick with just the empire and Devanu, but this model pushes it over the top for me.

Now, I just need to wait for 2 more alternate poses of the Devanu Sempa (for the beast handler and Matriarch) and a 40mm Alpha Grishak  Wink

Glad to hear it Grin

Can't help you with any of those just yet... However, you could use Arak as your Kopa, then use Devanu #1 as a Matriarch or beasthandler. I do have a new jenta for you though  Grin
I do think I need to do a new sempa some time soon though. I occasionally wonder how I'd go about sculpting a matriarch...
