I very, very much like the look of that Grishak Kopa. Seriously hoping that's available to some extent soon.

Call me old-fashioned, but I really, really like the priests running around without visible weapons. Just lets the mind run wild about what they might be hiding inside those robes... I realize that kind of curtails the number of possible poses...

Sorry macc... The NuraKira is sitting in front of me wielding a small ceremonial dagger. I don't think it is out of place, but you can always stick with the original acolyte model if you prefer!

Lexie is off at nursery, jules is working, I've got the new Florence and the Machine album and I'm sculpting priests. Idyllic  Grin
Today is officially a 'Twilight Day'. My job list includes working on the priests and finishing issue 3 of the Twilig Traveller. I'll aim to share some pics of stuff later as well.

There will be a limited release of the grishak in December  - as long as the moulding and casting goes well. I've promised Darren a few pre-Christmas pre-releases so keep your eyes open in early December.

It went well!
The magazine is progressing, albeit slowly (I need to sketch some more artwork...). The sculpting is getting there, with the two priests definitely taking shape. The procreate (grey sculpting material) makes the NuraKira look a little bit rougher, but they both need more work.

Let me know what you think, but I hope you like how they are coming along!  Smiley

Upon further review, I recant my prior heresy. They both look great, but I love the top sculpt... Going to need two of them, at least! Smiley

OOh nice.

Whats the deal with the hood on the second one ? Does he see using some kind of sorcery or are you planning making the eyes visible ? Personally I think making the side of the hood netted would look cool. Keep it looking sinister.

The hood is thinner over the eyes so they can still see, but the heavy cowls are a mark of subservience to their Enarii masters and acolytes are expected to wear them at all times. More senior priests get a little more leeway.

Very nice pair there! No doubt I'll pick them up, though it may mean a few too many priests...

Looking good. That staff looks pretty hefty, I'd hate to get clubbed with it. It reminds me a bit of the wooden club/axe in Last of the Mohicans.

Being from Ireland I find these sentiments disturbingly familiar ...

Sculpts went off to the casters today  Grin
They should hopefully be back in a couple of weeks, then a handful will go straight over to Pyre for a pre-Christmas release.

The Traveller is also pretty much done - I just need to finish a sketch of the KalGush then I'll publish it  Smiley

That traveller is the only thing that is going to get me through work tomorrow.
