@emberbreeze I can't help it if the dhogu tend to wear drab colours can I? Glad you like them so far. I spent far too much of last night ironing, but I did get a couple of skerrat based and undercoat. The skerrat are seen across the empire, so I'm going to cheat and let the dhogu use then as well as the herders. The snow skerrat (name tbc) are a bit more aggressive than their southern cousins. They'll probably still just be 1 combat and support, but it's likely they'll be the only models that can support the trapper. I'm trying to figure out moulds for getting the dhogu into production. The multipart nature makes it even more tricky than usual...

The group is now accompanied by a couple of bright white skerrat. I probably should spend longer neatening up the paint jobs, but tempted to draw a line under them and snow the bases so I can start on something else! The decision then is whether to expand the dhogu or paint some of the other models that are in the queue...

Had a fun pair of games on Sunday. My large force of Delgon suffered at the hands of Tony's Devanu... I took 800pts of Delgon, led by Roban and Gohral with a mix of troops. Tony's Devanu had Arak, 2 Sempa, 2 Jenta, 2 kosok and a group of Grishak led by a Grishak kopa. Again, 800pts. In game 1 I spread my troops a little thin. Roban almost killed arak, but one of the Sempa snuck through and killed Gohral. D'oh! In game 2 it was going well until arak carved his way through half my army. Ouch. Roban almost pinned him down with a couple of striders, but he snuck past and ate my priests again. Another victory for Arak's crusade...
I've been painting Gohral and a nurakira this week as they'll be useful!

Still getting used to the commute in to London! In spite of that, I managed to get some painting and sculpting this week, finishing off my little Dhogu force, a few priests and a couple of KalGush. They all got an outing last night - the dhogu proved somewhat effective (popping up behind Ben's caravan and wreaking havoc) and the KalGush sent a Hunter and his poor Graku to a fiery death... I heard some good news last night - Cre (Hairy Norseman) became a father yesterday when little Mael (pronounced Mile) was born. I expect this means we might see less writing from him, but he's given me a few pieces to see me through the next few months while he isn't sleeping

Yes thankies. They came home on Sunday and have settled in well. Mael has assumed his role as chief nappy filler as well as Mummy & Daddy waker.
